ABSTRACT

Since unit 8 you've had little or no practice on usages reflecting differences in status, and it seems sensible to return to these at this point. One way you can practise this is to talk about (e.g.) brothers and sisters or children in the age range of, say 10-16 whom you would (or could) address as twm. You can't handle this unless we return to the singular pronouns yyh and vwh and teach you their possessives. And it seems sensible while we're about it to revise all the possessives and to add one or two other relevant things.
