Does North-South Collaboration Enhance NGO Influence on Deforestation Policies in Malaysia and Indonesia?

Papers 1 and 2 in this volume examine the impact of the national political context within which NGOs operate. This paper concentrates on another variable that affects the degree of NGO influence on policy making by looking in particular at the assumption that international collaboration would be more likely to make NGOs influential than if they acted alone.
