ABSTRACT
Whether talking about themselves, or being talked about by others, the figure at the heart of this history is that of the elementary school classroom teacher. In Part III of the book, we invite this figure to step forward and talk about themselves at greater length. Here, individuals reflect upon their teacher-training experiences in the context of their own careers and their lives; the focus falls squarely upon the person.
