ABSTRACT

Many schools these days have appointed a specialist Drama teacher but the time the teacher has does not always match the time pupils require or want. Drama plays an important part in the learning process of all pupils, but with slow learners it is perhaps of even greater importance. It is another form of expression; another form of communication. Teachers who are not specially trained are often apprehensive about attempting drama. They remember their own schooldays of elaborate plays and excerpts from Shakespeare and feel unable to cope. Drama today is very different from this, and the following may provide some ideas when the pupils say:
