ABSTRACT
It would be no exaggeration to say that the question of Korea’s reunification was always brought up in every context. In the head of state’s principal speeches, in discussions and conversations with officials on all levels, and even on visits to agricultural cooperatives, the question cropped up. However, it would not be correct to say one discussed it with the Koreans – one listened to the same exposition time and time again.
