ABSTRACT
The North Korean parliament – the Supreme People’s Assembly (SPA) – conducted sessions twice a year, usually for three days at a time. The Fifth Assembly’s seventh session took place on 26-29 April 1977, and foreign embassy personnel were allowed to observe most of the plenary meetings.
