ABSTRACT
The Military Police were first organized at Peking, consisting of one * Ying2, Battalion, of men who had completed the course of the Gendarmerie School established at the Ministry of War (see No. 715 E); later these police were organized in iI: ;It Chiang1 Pei3 (see a Memorial from ~ ~ t.ft Hsii2 Sha04-cheng1, dated the 29th September, 1909), to the number of one ~~ Tui4, Company. Also, there have been established fi 1fl m Lien' Hsi' S03, Courses for Preparation for Service in the Military Police.
