ABSTRACT
The preceding chapters have introduced a number of statistical concepts; some are fundamental, such as ‘population’, ‘sample’ and ‘variable’, others are instrumental such as the types of scale. This chapter has the aim of encouraging teachers to use test data descriptively and to examine its various implications.
