ABSTRACT
The previous chapter gave some idea about the complexity of the ear, its function and the many variations in hearing loss that might be encountered. In this chapter the practical aspects of having a hearing impaired child in a mainstream class will be looked at in terms of hearing_aid management and how the teacher might need to behave differently when teaching hearing impaired children. First children with hearing losses who do not wear aids are considered.
