ABSTRACT
The construction industry, which has traditionally been based on craft skills, is changing to one based on the synthesis of information and technology. Recent improvements in the speed and cost of construction has proven the value of an integrated team-based approach. The market will now drive such fundamental changes and those involved in education will be forced to adapt and change the way that architects and engineers are educated.
