ABSTRACT

Interpersonal conflict resolution among children is a rapidly growing research area. The term conflict resolution refers here to strategies by which individuals attempt to solve conflicts in nonaggressive manners. In the present study, three ways of resolving conflicts were investigated in adolescents of three age groups (8, 11, and 15 years of age), in Finland, Israel, Italy, and Poland. Variation dependent on age, sex, and ethnic group was studied.
