ABSTRACT
The 1992 edition of the approved document C gives recommendations for dealing with gaseous contaminants including radon, methane and other landfill gases. There are also further provisions relating to ventilation below suspended floors; the minimum residual cavity width when a wall cavity is partially filled with insulation is to be 50 mm and there is an increase in the thickness of polyethylene dpm.
