ABSTRACT
This chapter looks at those features on or around the site of the building being surveyed. These may not directly affect value but most will be important to the client. It is common for many of these elements to be looked at last when surveyors can often be tired, lacking concentration and thinking about their next appointment rather than carefully evaluating external features.
