ABSTRACT
Tendering is not just a formalized process. People are involved too. And with people, come their personalities. The influence of key people can, and should, drive the whole process forward.
Invariably, most people are working towards the best outcome possible; in their eyes. This creates a difficulty. What one person sees as a good way forward, another may consider to be disastrous. Conflict between people can often be explained by the fact that any two individuals are driven by different circumstances. Sometimes the tension between individuals can be very creative and lead to excellent results. At other times, the tension just produces a negative atmosphere.
