ABSTRACT
The second case study in the chapter concentrates on a specific grounds maintenance issue. Again, it clearly shows that an adverse situation can be turned around by a clear understanding of a situation and a commitment by everyone involved to improve. It is provided by Michael Burgess who is the Grounds Contractor Manager at Stevenage Borough Council in Hertfordshire.
