ABSTRACT
Interpretation cannot fail to have a future-of some kind. In its basic, casual forms it has always existed wherever man has lived. We are not concerned in this chapter with predictions so much as with hopes. It would be unwise to guess what the various forms of Interpretation will look like in a decade or two, but it will certainly be what Interpreters make it, as they respond to whatever needs and opportunities an evolving society presents.
