ABSTRACT
The trajectory and accomplishments of one’s career are the result of factors such as familial influences, educational opportunities and choices, avocational interests, mentor(s)’ influence, opportunities in a chosen career area, and chance (i.e., being at the right place at the right time). I will consider the role of these factors in my career, together with what I consider to be my contributions to clinical neuropsychology. Finally, I will share some thoughts concerning the future of neuropsychology.
