ABSTRACT
The incredible increase in the number and size of international construction contracts witnessed during the 1970s and 1980s continued and is still on going in several countries around the world. Many contractors of different nationalities have become established in various foreign countries, some have formed joint ventures whilst others have forged long-term associations with other contractors and so their knowledge and experience have extended from their home industry to further fields.
