ABSTRACT
During recent years the level of society’s awareness of the situation and needs of persons with a disability has grown. This has led to significant changes in legal mandates. An outstanding example of the introduction of new law requirements is the ‘Americans with Disabilities Act’ which came into effect in the USA in 1990.
