ABSTRACT
Surface colours (as we have seen in Chapter 2) can be described by three parameters: in
the Munsell system these are value, chroma and hue. Each dimension of colour is
perceived within a context of associations, linked with culture and fashion, but a colour
system can be a framework for design decisions.
