ABSTRACT
Sometimes the main aim of a lighting installation is to enhance the appearance of things
on display-emphasizing their special characteristics, making them points of attraction.
Pictures in a gallery and merchandise in a shop are obvious examples. But the scope to
brighten specific elements exists in every building. Living rooms, classrooms and offices
need focuses of lighting, provided that these have meaning to the viewer.
