ABSTRACT
The work model described in this chapter is a result of ongoing research since the early sixties with the development of a comprehensive classification and coding system for Computer Integrated Construction (CIC). The work model is a sub-model within a much broader framework called ‘Co-ordinated Building Communication’ (CBC), first mentioned in a series of articles in the Architects’ Journal 1964/65 [01]. The SfB-version named CBC/SfB was based on the international SfB system, CIB/SfB.
