ABSTRACT
The structure and external fabric of laboratory buildings need not necessarily differ from those of other comparable building types. It is in the internal partitions, finishings and fittings that there are specific requirements for labs. The finishes for rooms other than those particular to this building type will be as is usual for such rooms and have not been covered here. All finishes should of course be approved by the client.
