4 The effect of location and other measurable parameters on tender levels

The tender price of a project is affected by many parameters. BCIS has been measuring tender price levels since the first quarter of 1974 and these are published as the BCIS Tender Price Index (TPI). Some of the factors affecting prices have been measured and papers describing the effect of ‘date’ and ‘location’ have been previously published in BCIS.
