ABSTRACT
Of the four components of a set of contract documents: the illustrative, the qualitative, the quantitative and the conditions (or as they are more comprehensibly known: the drawings, the specification, the Bills of Quantity, and the Form of Contract), the drawings are the one aspect on which the landscape architect considers he needs little or no guidance, even if this view is not so universally held by landscape contractors.
