ABSTRACT
This chapter covers only the general principles of subcontract documentation, highlighting those special characteristics affecting landscape subcontracts. If landscape projects can be carried out under the direction of a landscape architect as a direct contract such as that envisaged by the JCLI conditions between the employer and the landscape contractor this is sometimes in the best interests of all concerned.
