ABSTRACT

For determining the aerobic and anaerobic capacities a nonprofessional team vas tested tvice over a period of 6 months by the standard method of bicycle ergometry, the so-called GieBener model described by Nowacki et al. (1988). The third and last test vas a special, intermittent treadmill ergometry for soccer players. This test vas developed to verify a new method by comparing its results with the veil known standard bicycle method. Further, we wanted to demonstrate that the intermittent load of soccer matches could be transferred in a laboratory test
