ABSTRACT
Soccer is the most popular ball game in Germany. Played very often in leisure time by non-professionals there is a high incidence of fractu res seen in traumatology units. Because of the way the game is played most injuries happen to be at the lower extremities. In some cases however, the maxillofacial region is involved.
