ABSTRACT
My next short story is meant to illustrate that the surveyor must not jump to conclusions. It also amplifies some of the comments made in the preceding chapter concerning condensation. For the sake of a name, I shall call my next client Mr Cornwallis and the village in which he lives Shepherd’s Cottages.
