ABSTRACT
Note The 1990/92 amendments to the Building Regulations have increased thermal regulations. In particular insulation is now required under floor-as most surveys will be carried out on houses built prior to this date, the new requirements have not been indicated on any floor details. However, loft insulation has been indicated as 150mm thickness of glassfibre. Where references are made to the National House-Builders Council publications the initials NHBC have been used.
