ABSTRACT

Practitioners need smart and practical organizational interventions that can be easily applied to implement quick changes in small groups of workers with high levels of work stress. To establish the effectiveness of interventions, most practitioners rely on scientific evidence and standards which are often difficult to apply or can be impractical in smaller settings. In this chapter, suggestions are given for a more straightforward intervention approach to change the organizational environment of small groups of workers with alternatives for measurement and the use of control groups.
