ABSTRACT

Cheemin-de-fer differs from Baccarat in two main particulars: (a) the bank passes in rotation round the table, and each banker may make the bank for as much or as little as it suits his pocket—he need not take it at all if he doesn't want to—and (b) the banker deals one hand instead of two to the punters. With these and one or two minor alterations in the jeux de règles the games are exactly alike.
