ABSTRACT
Brag is one of the oldest English card-games, and is especially interesting as it is the ancestor of the modern Poker and the descendant of the ancient Primero, that game that was being played by Henry VIII. and the Duke of Suffolk when the Bishop of Winchester broke away from them at one o'clock in the morning of a certain day famous in English history (Shakespeare's Henry VIII., v. i.).
