ABSTRACT

As music educators strive for a relevant focus, they pursue music-making activities in all their forms. Research and reflection upon our musical activities is a vital part of a complete music education. Music research includes musicology, which has a history of being very document-centric, and also embraces practice-based reflective activities. There are many research sources including books, journals, people, and places that can be used as well an Internet sources, but this chapter focuses on the sources made available via the Internet.
