ABSTRACT

In addition to its value for learning and production, the computer can help teachers and students manage information to make their daily work more effective. The use of the computer for administrative tasks may not be as exciting as using it for music production tasks, but it can make an important impact on the efficient running of a music program and is the area in which many teachers have their first or dominant contact with computing technologies. It is wise to take advantage of the opportunity to get better acquainted with how the computer operates in an area where it is almost impossible to avoid interfacing with it, the business and administration of music education.
