While these subjects are not a compulsory part of the curriculum for primary schools, no primary school teacher can escape the need to help children to develop in their personal and social relationships. It is part of everyday life when working with young children and your influence on their social development is crucial. It is therefore essential that this subject is given proper attention at all stages in primary education.
