The title means something like "Classified Stories from Korean History", and is fairly generally known as that of an 8 volume hanmun work of the midnineteenth century (see Maema Kyr>saku: Kosen Sappu, m 1503, the catalogue of the Karam collection, and, for reference to a story in it which is similar to that of 121 llHl:ll~H::! Pae Pijang chOn, P'ansori Palsaeng ko, 268-269, as described in the Introduction, §7. 3. 3,Kim Kidong, 536-538, etc.). The catalogue of the 1947 exhibition does not state that Pang Chonghyon's text is, or was, in hanmun, and the fact that it is apparently so much shorter than other known texts indicates that it may be the sort of partial translation which is often found of such works.
