ABSTRACT

Kim Kidong, 492-495, describes ~~~.~Jill. Puyong Sangsa kok, "Puyong's Song of Love", from a publication by Sin'gu Sorim, 1914, 87 pages, as a relatively straightforward story of the love of a kisaeng and a yangban, in the best traditions of such stories. He states that the story was "introduced briefly" by Kim T'aejun, but I cannot find the reference, and this may be a mistake, since on page 601 he refers to Ku, Son and Kim: Kungmunhak Kaeron, and this does summarise the story, on page 257.
