ABSTRACT

Kim Kidong, 553-560, describes this satirical story of a yangban of strict morals being led into more easy-going ways by two kisaeng. ::=.iUi~c Samson ki in Hy6ndae Munhak, 54, 55, 58, 60, 61, June 1959-January 1960, is an edition by him of the text which he used for this description, a publication by Imundang, 1918, 90 pages. The story has several features in common with 354 OI~~~ Yi Ch"cm.p'ung chem: the name of the hero, the setting in P'yongyang, the family name of one of the kisaeng and a generally satirical aim, though there are great differences between the two stories.
