ABSTRACT
So far, resourcing for licensed and articled teacher schemes has allowed very little time for mentor support beyond what can only be described as token training courses. These have amounted to no more than a few days with insufficient ongoing support for reflection and evaluation. A number of such 'training days' have been provided by my own college as part of the package agreed with the LEA.
