ABSTRACT
In Table 12.1, we have given the normal range of BMI which is between 20-25kg/m2. The World Health Organisation (1990) sets a BMI of 17.5kg/m2 as the threshold for anorexia nervosa. ABMI of 13.5kg/m2 is a critical level of weight loss at which admission to hospital should be considered.
