ABSTRACT

Some people may seem to sleep eight hours, yet awaken fatigued, having tossed and turned all night. The quality of their sleep is poor. Still others may go right to sleep and awaken in the early hours unable to go back to sleep the rest of the night. The varieties of sleep problems are as numerous as their causes. According to the American Sleep Disorders Association, nearly 30 million Americans suffer from insomnia at some time in their lives.
