ABSTRACT

When you first return from interviewing, you will probably feel relaxed and confident, albeit exhausted. You got through it and you survived! You held your own in professional interactions with top psychologists away from your home base. It is a heady experience, and you will probably be eager to swap war stories with fellow applicants. Enjoy this feeling while it lasts. Get reacquainted with your family and major professor. Soon you will be entering the final stage of the internship-selection process, the "Endgame." The Endgame is the culmination of the whole seemingly interminable process that began back in August. In early February, you will rank your choices and the training centers will rank theirs. Three weeks later, you will learn the outcome. For many applicants, these feel like the longest 3 weeks of their lives.
