ABSTRACT
The digital musician is one who takes Varèse’s visionary statement as fundamental. Indeed, he or she may decide to agree with Varèse completely and refuse the label ‘musician’, preferring ‘sound artist’, ‘sonic artist’ or even ‘sound designer’.
