ABSTRACT
This chapter addresses four broad factors—the family, economic concerns, political concerns, and desires for personal advancement—to see what role they play in people's decision about whether or not to return. While these four factors may be seen as competing hypotheses, all of them may play some role in affecting people's decisions about returning. The crucial detail is to determine which factors are more important and why.
