ABSTRACT
There is a clear sense of “forced liberalization” within the education sector in Pakistan, with external and internal actors playing their roles without recognizing the impact of such neo-liberal “reforms.” The waves of globalization and liberalization appear to be inevitable as resistence by civil society and users of education services is negligible.
