ABSTRACT
The intent of this study is to compare four individual sites in the city of Ann Arbor for the development of a senior housing project. This proposed housing development will be used by retired faculty and staff of the University of Michigan. This study is to examine the potential and relative amenities each site has to offer in a systematic and comparative evaluation. Due to the variety of lifestyles of seniors in our society, it is impossible to say that any one site is best suited to satisfy the needs of every resident who will live in this development. The following pages will give the reader a general impression of the neighborhoods where each of the sites are located (Figure 3.1).
