ABSTRACT

A participant in my research, who had recently completed his undergraduate degree, said this in regards to the role he believed institutions should play in preparing and supporting students for life-after-study:

I’m beginning life totally different than anything I’ve ever known. If institutions believe it’s important to have first-year services to help students adjust in the change from high school to university, then it is ridiculous to not think that we don’t also need something as graduating students.
