ABSTRACT

Wegman and Greve [1] have described a microcoulometric determination of extractable organic halogens, particularly chlorine, in surface waters.

Fritschi et al. [2] have described a method for the determination of combined volatile and non-volatile organochlorine compounds in water. Non-volatile compounds were extracted either by hexane or diisopropyl ether, while volatile compounds were vaporized by a stream of nitrogen and passed through a furnace, the resulting chloride being measured coulometrically.
