ABSTRACT
Psychotic symptoms are present in many psychiatric disorders. The presence of psychosis adds severity to the psychiatric diagnosis and prognosis, and complicates the psychiatric treatment. Identification of psychosis is fundamental to establishing a thorough diagnostic formulation and a comprehensive treatment plan. Most of the time, the dimension of psychosis requires specific treatment.
